Well, Carsten Höller is a German artist famous for his installation art and mixture of art and science (he used to study biology before art). For instance, he has created Upside Down Glasses in 2001. Ever wondered what it would be like to see the world upside-down? And no, just turning your head upside-down doesn’t work – but with these glasses Höller tricks our brains and actually turns the world upside down!
Besides creating Upside Down Glasses Höller is also famous for creating his project Test Site, an experience of making people sliding at museums, at schools, at work, etc. What interests Höller is both the visual spectacle of watching people sliding and the inner feelings experienced by the sliders themselves, the state of simultaneous delight and anxiety that you enter as you descend.
